Summary of the Manifesto

The manifesto of Rastriya Janamukti Party has proposed two-tier governance: the central federal government and regional autonomous government. Federal government shall form two councils: the national council which will act as House of Representatives and state council as upper house. In the upper house elected representatives from all the autonomous states are proportionally elected. Federal government holds control over foreign affairs, defense, communication, trade and commerce, currency and a few state-owned industries. Similarly, the autonomous state government shall have control over the local administration, economy, and politics.
